Mitt Romney is back in Florida on Wednesday for several campaign stops in Tampa, Coral Gables and Jacksonville.
His campaign announced the Republican presidential contender will attend “Victory Rallies” at Landmark Aviation in Tampa, the BankUnited Center in Coral Gables and Metropolitan Park in Jacksonville.
Joining him along the way: former Gov. Jeb Bush, U.S. Rep. and Senate candidate Connie Mack IV and Sen. Marco Rubio.
Romney is scheduled to speak at about 2 p.m. at the BankUnited Center.
President Barack Obama is canceling a third straight day of campaigning Wednesday because of the superstorm that battered the East Coast
The White House says the president will not attend events scheduled Wednesday in swing state Ohio. He will remain in Washington to monitor the storm and the federal response.
Vice President Joe Biden is scheduled to campaign in Sarasota and Ocala.
Authorities expect traffic delays in and around the BankUnited Center for Romney’s appearance.
Miami-Dade Transit officials said passengers should expect similar delays on rail and bus services on Wednesday afternoon.
